About Me
As a Christian artist, I’m inspired daily by God’s designs. From His creation of the human soul in its complex form, to every creature great and small, to the vibrant colors He paints in nature, all in its finest detail.
I was born an artist. As a little girl growing up in Northern New Mexico in the 1970’s, my fondest memories of art were my little drawings of horses, dogs and flowers. I found joy and security in a pencil and blank sheet of paper. Throughout the years of my life, creating art has continued to be my passion.
A sense of peace overwhelms me when I'm creating art in my studio. Color and detail become my goal for creating pieces that will both inspire and draw people to appreciate the beauty of art in all its forms. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.” Sara Eyestone, my personal mentor, has given me the inspiration and courage that I needed to continue my artistic journey as long for as long as I live.
My works of art are only reflections, flawed by my human hands, of the beautiful things that God has already put into works…
